Ex-Im Bank History By Month: December

1944: Congress passes the First Supplemental Appropriation Act, 1945.  The act transfers an aggregate $47,453 from the Foreign Economic Administration, including funds from the Ex-Im Bank.

1945: Congress passes the First Deficiency Appropriations Act and Ex-Im Bank’s administrative expenses are increased by $150,000 for FY 1946.

1990:  Ex-Im Bank approves a comprehensive guarantee to cover the sale of U.S. copper mining machinery and equipment to Mexico’s Mexicana de Cananea, S.A. de C.V.

2006: The Ex-Im Bank of United States and China announce agreement to increase sales of U.S.-financed exports to China.
